Successful Completion of PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations by IGEM Victoria

The Inspector-General for Emergency Management Victoria (IGEM) has recently partnered with ACFEC to successfully deliver the PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations course.

This course is a nationally recognised training program designed to equip professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge for government investigations. IGEM recognises the importance of continuous learning and professional development in maintaining high standards of performance within their organisation and ACFEC is honoured to have had the opportunity to help IGEM officers to upskill their workplace skills development.

This course featured a comprehensive training approach which included a combination of virtual and face-to-face learning. The officers participated in three days of virtual learning, followed by four days of intensive face-to-face training.

Workshop Dates

  • Workshop 1 (Virtual): 8-10 November 2023

  • Workshop 2 (Face-to-Face): 20-23 November 2023

Assessments were competency-based and thoughtfully contextualised to IGEM's legislative and operating environment. Each assessment item was meticulously mapped against the elements and performance criteria for the units of competency to ensure that IGEM officers acquired practical and relevant skills.

ACFEC would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all IGEM officers who successfully completed the PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations. This achievement reflects their dedication to professional growth and their commitment to upholding the highest standards in government investigations.
