Entry Requirements
Successful completion of a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) test.
There are no formal entry requirements for this program. However, it’s recommended that you gain substantial work experience in a contract management or leadership role during the course to provide workplace evidence of your competency.
If you don’t have work-based experience, we recommend you first complete the Certificate IV Procurement and Contracting or gain a minimum of three years’ experience working in a contract management environment.

This qualification equips learners with the skills to effectively plan, manage, and finalise procurement processes, and to oversee the entire supply chain while employing advanced communication strategies in complex workplace environments.
Designed for independent and self-directed work in the public sector, this diploma integrates technical and theoretical knowledge, building a strong foundation for advanced capabilities in procurement and contract management across varied contexts. Key competencies include core units on public service values, contract performance, procurement risk management, negotiation, and legal compliance, alongside elective units that cover specialised skills such as market research, supply chain management, and coordinated procurement management.

ACFEC applies a risk-based approach to determine the risks of an assessment tool. Assessment tools include:
practical exercises
participation in a workplace simulated assessment activity
testing of underpinning knowledge through short answer questions, and
requests for learners to provide evidence of prior application of skills and pre-courses assignment (where required and requested by the client)
